Since we last posted, a few more news items have dropped regarding the Colonials.
Andre Frederick is transferring away from RMU. Andre had an up and down career at RMU in his two years, but the writing was on the wall.
With Aaron Tate and Billy Giles coming back, along with a very talented freshmen class that includes forwards David Cole and Braden Burke, playing time was going to be tough to find. Andre will look to move to a D2 school. That’s probably a better fit for him. Andy Toole now has a few open roster spots. I would personally love to see add a JuCo transfer or Grad transfer that can contribute right way, but I’m sure Toole has a plan.
According to this article from Trib Live, RMU will play at Richmond during the non-conference (adding to games at Virginia and at Kansas State ). The Colonials’ home non-conference games will include, Duquesne, Penn and Oakland.
Also, floating around the Twitter-sphere was this photo from an Under Armor marketing rep. If you look closely, you’ll notice RMU’s logo in the bottom left. Look for UA gear (including jersey’s) for RMU hoops starting next year. Side Note: I hope RMU continues to wear the home cursive white uniforms. Those are amazing. 
Lastly, take a look at this video on incoming freshman Clive Allen. A very good look into him signing his NLOI to Robert Morris.
Of note here, did I hear RMU will open the season at Virginia? We’ll see.
